Spa Fusion by Emmy Stoltz
Emmy studied Somatology at the private Camelot International School and was then asked to join the group to act as manager at their various spas such as The Hilton, Hyatt, Sheraton & Sabi Sabi, consulting for new spas, lecturing and heading up part time studies.
From there she was asked to open The Mount Grace spa and accepted the position as spa manager. During this time she led it to world-class acclaim and the receipt of many accolades.
When the prospect of bringing Elemis to South Africa became a possibility, she recognised an opportunity to explore a long-held dream to impact more than a handful of spas and make her mark on the Southern African Beauty industry. Holding the position as Director of Training & Professional Development, Emmy was instrumental in the placement of Elemis in top spas and the newly launched Woolworths Beauty Departments.
Emmy then moved on to start her own business, Spa Fusion, offering mentorship & consultancy to salons & spas. As spa industry-specific consultants, this provides specialized knowledge and experience in creating profitability.
Acting as the Director for Africa, Mauritius and Seychelles for the Global Mentorship Program, an initiative of the Global Wellness Institute from 2016 - 2018, Emmy assisted many spa managers to connect with mentors from all over the world! Establishing mentorship in the workplace as a critical and integral part of growth and success!
In addition, Emmy has assisted several product houses to establish themselves within the South African market, through sales and development.
With over 22 years’ experience – with both established and innovative practice; Emmy has advised in all areas from concept to opening and daily spa operations she has shown her many clients how to grow spa profit margins by improving spa systems & creating awareness through training and mentorship.
Over the years in the beauty industry, she has been a key speaker at many industry events, a regular judge for the acclaimed Les Nouvelles Esthetique Spa Awards and a respected member of the beauty industry in South Africa.
